The TCL Communication has already started the publicity of the device and the most interesting one is that the good looking Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra has its own little character part in Iron Man 3. The device will be featured in the latest upcoming movie Iron Man 3.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra is just 6.45 mm thick and comes with 4.7-inch AMOLED display screen. The screen is complete HD with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and comes with oleophobic coating that which can protect the device from dust and fingerprints off the display. It runs on the latest Android 4.1(Jelly Bean) operating system and is processed by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It got 16 GB internal memory out of which is 13.3 GB internal memory is user-available and a generous 1 GB RAM . The device supports memory expansion via MicroSD card slot. One interesting about this device is it also comes with a water-repellent technology. You cannot compare it directly with Sony Xperia Z, but can be a good option for budget buyers. It is featured with a 8 MP rear camera with a single LED flash which also supports Panorama and Matrix style modes. The front camera is a 1.3 MP for video-calling. It supports all standard connectivity options and comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 2.0 apart from E-compass, G-sensor and GPS. Conclusion:
The device has got a good specification but again the one disappointed thing here is the battery. We would have been happy to see some improved battery power with the device like the one in Alcatel One Touch Scribe Easy, but still the other technical specification like the Dual Core Processor and 8 MP camera looks good. Being the slimmest mobile in the Indian market this will definitely earn the user attraction. The other feature like water-repellent technology which is not as strong as in Sony Xperia Z but can save your device from water also make it worth for the price tag. It will be available in the Indian market from 24th April with the price tag of Rs.21,500 and the pre-order has already been started which can order the device from Infibeam for a discounted price of Rs.20,390.
