The Fonepad 7 sports a bright 1280 x 800 pixel LED Backlit 10 finger multi touch IPS LCD display which is 7 inches in size. The software has been enhanced to Android 4.3 jelly bean operating system. Fonepad 7 is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor coupled with PowerVR SGX544 GPU clocked at 300 MHz. The RAM capacity is 1 GB and internal storage is 8 GB. You can further extend the storage by 64 GB using MicroSD support. Although imaging hardware is not a priority on tablet, you will get a 5 MP shooter capable of Full HD 1080p recording at the back and a 1.2 MP front facing camera with 720p Video recording for decent experience. The 3950 mAh battery will last for 28 hours of 3G talk time and up to 35 days of standby time. Connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. It’s questionable if we really read dual SIM dual standby functionality on a 7 inch tablet, but there does exist a demand for such products in markets like India. Many people won’t shy away from using their tablets as primary calling device. The price is expected to be around 16,000 INR.
