We have already seen several leaks about the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL including detailed specs as well as image renders. Google itself accidentally listed Pixel 3a on the Google Store as a new smartphone. Now the phones are spotted on the Google Play Developer Console by a Reddit user. The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL are spotted with code names ‘Bonito’ and ‘Sargo’ respectively. Let’s check out leaked specifications of these upcoming mid-range devices from Google.
Google Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL Leaked Specifications
As revealed in the listing, the Pixel 3a ‘Bonito’ will sport a 5.6-inch FHD+ (1080×2160 pixels) screen. It will pack 4GB RAM and run the latest Android 9 Pie. On the other hand, the Pixel 3a XL ‘Sargo’ was also listed with 4GB RAM but it will sport with a 6-inch FHD+(1080×2220 pixels). It will also run Android 9 Pie OS.
Based on previous leaks, the Pixel 3a could be powered by the Snapdragon 670 processor. It will sports an 8MP wide-angle front camera and a 12MP rear camera. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery. The Pixel 3a XL could pack the Snapdragon 710 processor. It is speculated that the camera specs will be the same on both the phones. The Pixel 3a series will likely be affordable versions of the Pixel 3 phones. Also, this will be the first time when Google will launch mid-range Pixel phones. It is expected these phones could be revealed at the Google I/O conference in May. However, it is not confirmed yet. Google launches its Pixel series around October, so Pixel 3a’s May launch seems realistic.
