Display and Features
The LG G2 comes with 5.2 inch display which has a 5.2 inch True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. On the other hand, the LG G3 gets a 5.5 inch True HD-IPS+ LCD display which has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and is the first flagship from among the top guns to get a QHD display. The LG G2 may have a really good display unit but when stacked up against the G3, it does not really stand a chance. The LG G3 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Optimus UI on top which has been given a major overhaul and the device has been given a whole lot of software functionalities. That’s a pretty cool feature and it gets complemented by a 2MP front snapper. The LG G2 on the other hand gets a 13MP camera with OIS at the back and a 2MP front camera. The LG G3 comes across as a preferred choice any day. The LG G2 comes in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants but the same is non-expandable. The LG G3 on the other hand gets expandable storage capacity up to 128GB in addition to the same memory options.
Processor and Battery
The LG G2 comes with a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 with the four of its Krait 400 cores getting clocked at 2.3 GHz. The LG G3 features a Snapdragon 801 MSM8975AC unit which gets its four Krait 400 cores ticking at 2.5 GHz and the newer unit is surely faster, efficient and better. Both of them get Adreno 330 as the partner for a GPU A 3,000 mAh battery is present inside in the LG G2 that performs well enough to last it over a day of moderate usage. The LG G3 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery too which is user-removable so that’s a nice touch. Expect it to last a little under a day of moderate usage considering the fact that it has some top of the line specs to power.

Price and Conclusion
The pricing for the LG G3 hasn’t been announced but we expect it to cost an arm and a leg when it comes to India because of the spec sheet it bring alongside it. Expect it to cost about Rs 50,000-55,000. The LG G2 on the other hand is retailing for around Rs 35,000-37,000 and even that will drop now seeing the fact that the next flagship is here. The LG G3 is a worthy upgrade but seeing the expected price difference, you might want to settle in for the LG G2.
