Motorola Moto M Specifications
The Motorola Moto M comes with a full metal unibody construction. Exterior-wise, the smartphone does manage to look pretty handsome with curved back with chamfered edges. On the front, you get a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D curvature. At 1920 x 1080 pixels, you get a pixel density of ~401 PPI.
Powering it up is the brand new MediaTek P15 chipset with octa-core processors. It has eight ARM Cortex A53 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz each. The GPU is a dual core Mali MP T860. Coming to the memory, the Moto M boasts 3 GB or 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM combined with 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage. This is further complimented by a microSD card slot supporting up to 128 GB capacity. Speaking of the camera, a 16 MP autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture sits at the back. It features manual focusing capability and sports PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). There is also support for Auto HDR. The primary camera is assisted by a dual tone dual LED flash. Just below the rear camera, lies the circular fingerprint scanner. The Moto M can record Full HD 1080p videos at up to 30 fps. The front camera is an 8 MP snapper for selfies and video calling. It can record videos in 1080p resolution. The Moto M comes with a wide array of connectivity options. The phone supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (MIMO-enabled), USB Type C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. A relatively large 3050mAh battery with fast charging capability powers the Moto M. The smartphone rocks the usual Nano waterproofing coating.
Pricing And Availability
The Moto M has been priced starting at Rs. 15,999 for the 3 GB / 32 GB version while the 4 GB / 64 GB version has been priced at Rs. 17,999. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting on December 14. Additionally, Motorola also announced that every customer who purchases the Moto M will get Rs. 1000 off on the Moto Pulse 2 headset. The Moto Pulse 2 headset will effectively cost Rs. 499 after the discount.
