Micromax Canvas HD A116
The Canvas HD has a cult following. The device was launched about a year back, and was among the first ones from an Indian manufacturer to feature a quad core processor. The most interesting thing about the device was OTG support – which not many devices had during the time of its release. Fast forward to 2014, and this OTG enabled device can be bought for around 13,000 INR making it one of the cheapest OTG enabled devices in the country.
Micromax Canvas Magnus A117
Another device from domestic biggie Micromax, the Canvas Magnus, like its siblings comes with a MediaTek processor at its heart. Being a much more recent release, the phone comes with a quad core 1.5GHz processor along with a 12MP camera. The Canvas Magnus successfully utilizes the MT6589T SoC’s OTG feature, and allows you to use the phone with most USB hardware. The phone goes for around 13,000 INR in the country.
XOLO Q2000
This one’s a larger cousin to other domestic phones. Packing a 5.5 inch 720p screen, the device is larger and heftier than most devices mentioned here. Like you guessed, the XOLO Q2000 comes with a MediaTek processor indeed, the quad core MT6589 to be precise. The device is pricier than the rest too, coming in at about 15,000 INR. But the inclusion of USB OTG makes it a device worthy of its price tag.
Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro
Spice is among those brands which are quite less talked about, but tend to come up with impressive sales regardless. The Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro is a device which comes in with the quad core MT6589 like the XOLO Q2000, but a slightly smaller display of 5.3 inches and a lower resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. This reduction in hardware allows Spice to offer the device for under 10,000 INR, which makes it a great buy.
Intex Aqua HD
The Intex Aqua HD has the smallest screen among the devices mentioned here. The Aqua HD comes with a screen of 4.7 inches, but with an impressive resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels giving the device a wonderful pixel density to boast of. There’s also a 13MP camera if that’s not enough. Of course, all this added to the existent USB OTG support, which is why we’re talking about the device in the first place. The smartphone goes for around 12,500 INR. Which one among these are you planning to go for? Share your thoughts by commenting below!
