The Vivo V9 is the successor to last year’s Vivo V7. The main features of the phone are Snapdragon 626 SoC, Android 8.1 Oreo, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a 24MP front camera with A.I face beauty for a perfect image even in low-light. The phone also lets you add AR Stickers to pictures.

Vivo V9 specifications

The Vivo V9 sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D glass IPS display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen to body ratio. Notably, the phone features a notch at the top of the display. It has a metal and glass design and it measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89mm and weighs 150g.

The Vivo V9 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. Memory wise, it packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. In the camera department, it sports a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and a secondary 5MP camera. Up front, there is a 24MP front-facing camera with soft LED flash. Below the camera module, there is a Fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options on the phone include Hybrid dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. The Vivo V9 packs a 3,260mAh battery. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Vivo V9 Price and Availability

The Vivo V9 is priced at 10,999 Thai Baht (Rs. 22,900 approx.). It comes in Black and Gold colors and is available for pre-order in Thailand from today till 29 March and will go on sale from March 30. The Indian availability of Vivo V9 will be announced at the launch event tomorrow.
